Fulfillment Specialist | Production Assistant

Who you are
As a fulfillment specialist, you are the last touch point before a customer receives a BSC product. Our customers range from well-known retailers, to boutiques around the country, to individual retail customers looking for the perfect accessory or gift. For each of our outgoing orders, you make sure that we meet and exceed customer expectations.
You will help track raw materials coming in and finished goods leaving our production and fulfillment studio. You understand that accurate inventory is key to allowing BSC to thrive in a competitive environment.
You are attentive to detail and appreciate how steady, consistent work is a critical part of creating life-long customers. You favor direct communication and care about your coworkers and the success of our growing company.
You are available to work 2-3 days (part time) and 4-5 days out of the week (M-F) (full-time) at our Hutto studio between normal work hours (8:30 am - 5 pm).
You will have some flexibility in work hours/schedule.
Start Date: ASAP
The right candidate will be willing and able to:
- Match products SKUs with packing slips to fulfill orders correctly
- Meticulously prepare products for shipment by checking that they satisfy BSC’s 'Ready to Ship' standards
- Follow well-documented shipping practices and packaging techniques
- Navigate Shippo and other programs as needed for efficient processing of orders
- Help guarantee safe delivery of all packages from our Hutto warehouse
- Initial completed shipments on packing slips to ensure accountability and feedback on work
- Use Google Lists as our primary 'to-do' list and collaboration platform
- Collaborate on large corporate orders to follow specific, documented guidelines
- Communicate proactively to keep shipping supplies in stock
- Troubleshoot shipping issues as they arise
- Communicate openly and directly with coworkers
- Contribute to the growth and development of the shipping department and the company as a whole
- Contribute as needed on other tasks
