Well it's only been 5 months since my last blog post. I know, ridiculous. That alone should tell you how incredibly busy we have been. For a while I felt like I was living in a haze, surviving merely on gummy bears and coffee. (Don't judge me) Summer went by so fast, and business was better than ever. We made new wholesale contracts and are now in 3 states! Yay!!!
We purchased barcodes, and invested in a professional logo to be done. I have to say for months I had this idea in my head of what I wanted, but couldn't seem to get it down on paper. I finally reached out to a local design company and the rest is history. Anica with Austin Logo Designs, worked with us and created exactly what I was wanting. She saw my vision somewhere between the pinterest boards, sticky notes, and scribbles I sent over. The final product is gorgeous.
Then the tedious process started of having professional photographs done, by the very talented Twyla Hall, and now starts the real fun... package design! To explain just how excited I am, last week I spent 3 hours designing a lip balm label. At this rate I should do be done by 2018 Hah! Needless to say, it needs to get done. Plus I am almost out of labels at the moment, but the truth is I am a perfectionist, and some things just take longer than needed. But thanks to the incredible product images, that brings me to the newly redesigned website. It's cleaner, and much brighter than before.
We added some new products, body scrubs being my favorite right now, and did I mention we have pumpkin spice! Yes.. and you're welcome. Now I am busy gearing up for fall shows, and the holiday madness. Now back to the studio.
